Cris Cyborg, Strikeforce Women's Lightweight Champion

Cristiane Justino Venancio Santos, 24, – better known as Cris Cyborg – is a female fighter from Brazil. Her MMA record is 8-1. She made history on August 15, 2009, when she defeated superstar Gina Carano in the first round (4:59) by TKO (punches) and became the first-ever Strikeforce women’s champion.

Cris will defend her title against Dutch standout Marloes Coenen at a Strikeforce event on January 30, 2010.
