Mousasi signs new two-year contract with Strikeforce

MMAJunkie: Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi (28-2-1 MMA, 2-0 SF) on Thursday night signed a contract extension that will see him continue with the promotion for two years and up to four fights.

Win or lose tomorrow night, Mousasi is slated to participate in DREAM’s eight-man light heavyweight tournament, which kicks off May 30 at a location and venue to be determined. Strikeforce fighters Renato “Babalu” Sobral and Rameau Thierry Sokodjou are also scheduled to participate.
