Nam Phan, 26, began training martial arts at the age of 8. He studied Quyen Dao (a Vietnamese martial art) under Grandmaster Ha Quoc Huy. He trained there for nearly 9 years and earned his black belt.
Nam Phan is a versatile fighter who has not only Quyen Dao, but also BJJ, boxing and wrestling experience. But his real devotion is No Gi Jiu-jitsu.
He currently trains No Gi JJ with Rick Estrada, Russ Muira, and Adam Lynn at Subfighter Gym in Laguna Hills, CA.
