Revgear Fighter is the First Ever Female Title Holder in PA!

July 22, 2009

Jenn “Visegrip” Martin, 32, comes from Maryland, and now lives in Elmira, NY. Jenn is a full-time fighter. She says she loves sport so much she dedicates 100% of her time and energy to it. Jenn’s favorite styles are jiu-jitsu and judo. She’s been training with Team Vanquish at Elmira fitness center for a year, but she trains a lot on her own, too.

Jenn feels she has a natural talent for fighting. She is determined to pursue that. Jenn is a strong-willed person – she lost more than 100 pounds when she started training. Because she lives in a small town, Jenn maybe doesn’t have some training advantages a lot of other MMA fighters do, but she believes in herself, works hard and looks to turn a pro.

Determination like that has to be rewarded! On July 18, 2009, Jenn Martin fought in the first ever MMA fight in Pennsylvania. The event was hosted by Central Pa Warrior Challenge. Jenn’s opponent was Danielle Martinez. Jenn won all three rounds by unanimous decision. Jenn Martin  is now the first ever Female Title Holder in PA. Revgear is proud of you, Jenn!
