On June 26, 2010, Revgear sponsored fighter Rob Mooney (1-1 pro, 10-1 am), fighting out of Elizabethtown Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo in Elizabethtown, KY, returned to the cage for his second professional mixed martial arts bout in the first show put on by the Revgear sponsored show, Queen City Meltdown.

Mooney faced Taylor Ruscin, a training partner of Rich Franklin and Jorge Gurgel. Mooney fought a tough first round, surviving numerous solid leg kicks from Ruscin while working for takedowns and submissions, but ultimately was submitted in the second round.

Mooney said about Revgear’s support:  “I would like to thank Revgear for sponsoring me. When you watch the guys competing on the higher levels, their shirts and shorts look like racecars with all of the different brands sponsoring them. As an up and coming fighter it is great to have a quality brand sponsoring me and providing me with great gear to train and fight in”.
