Tanner Varley, Revgear Sponsored Fighter

Tanner Varley, 14, is from Harrisburg, North Carolina. He represents Team C.O.M.A. under Senseis Jason Outlaw, Mark Cukro, and Derrick Pearson. Tanner practices Japanese and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do Kickboxing and Submission Wrestling. He is a Purple Belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Level 1 in Muay Thai, Purple belt in Submission Wrestling.

Tanner is an instructor at the school and teaches kids extreme karate and Jiu-Jitsu. He is also a co-captain of his school’s fight team – Team C.O.M.A. On February 28, 2009, they brought 15 kids and teen competitors to NAGA Virginia. Team C.O.M.A. brought home 5 first place winners and 10 second places. Tanner himself won 1st place in Kids No-Gi Intermediate, in 130-179 lbs category.

The next Team C.O.M.A. fights are on March 21, 2009 for NAGA Nationals in Jonesboro, Georgia. Revgear wishes luck to Tanner and his team!
