Mind Lab Pro is better for long-term benefits, which are more subtle and not always noticeable.

Vyvamind vs Mind Lab Pro Ingredients

There is a big difference between the approach and ingredients list of the two products, as Vyvamind has 4 active ingredients and Mind Lab Pro has 11. All three ingredients of Vyvamind besides caffeine are also found in Mind Lab Pro.

Vyvamind’s formula revolves around the caffeine + L-theanine stack, a well-documented power combo. Caffeine has been demonstrated to boost reaction time, visual processing speed, working memory, and alertness while decreasing tiredness and mental fatigue, and L-theanine decreases the jitters and anxiety associated with caffeine [1][2].

L-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea, deserves attention on its own like it’s present in Mind Lab Pro.

Its effects include reduced anxiety and stress [3] and provide better verbal fluency and executive function [4].

The recommended dose is 200 mg, and there are 150 mg in Vyvamind and 100 mg of L-Theanine in Mind Lab Pro.

Another shared component between the two is Citicoline, which is often marketed as a powerful memory booster both in older people and in young, healthy ones. [5][6]. Both products fall short of the recommended 500 mg.

The last ingredient in Vyvamind is L-tyrosine, which is linked to mind flexibility and helps with multitasking [7]. Vyvamind contains 300 mg. of L-Tyrosine compared to the 150 mg found in Mind Lab Pro.

Bacopa monnieri is one of the most potent ingredients found in Mind Lab Pro, shown to improve verbal learning, memory acquisition, and delayed recall, particularly in older people [8].

Rhodiola Rosea Extract continues the list of Mind Lab Pro ingredients. Rhodiola Rosea has been shown to assist the body in handling stress [9]; the dosage in Mind Lab Pro is not very high and may not provide the full extent of benefits.

Mind Lab Pro has some other ingredients aimed at boosting your brain. One of the most intriguing is the Organic Lions Manse mushroom.

The fungi show considerable potential in reducing stress and improving working memory, attention, and reaction time [10][11].

The product also has proven substances like Phosphatidylserine and L-Tyrosine, but the dosage in Mind Lab Pro is much lower than recommended.

The final ingredient in the product is Pine Bark extract, a powerful antioxidant suggested to help memory and optimize blood flow [12].

Stimulant vs. Non-Stimulant

However, taking the same stimulant too late in the day will interrupt your sleep, and doing so frequently will have a detrimental long-term effect.

They also share that many realize the significance of the effects only after they stop taking the supplement.

This may sound only like a clever slogan, but it is true because plant-derived ingredients work optimally only after accumulation in the body.

All of the components in both products have been clinically studied. Some have more extensive research, while others are less conclusive; however, independent laboratory tests for all components are available.

Caffeine is the sole ingredient found only in Vyvamind and has been researched countless times in its forms and most possible scenarios.

Mind Lab Pro takes it a step further and boasts two studies made specifically on their formula, which is usually the best test for any supplement.

The L-theanine in the formula alleviates or completely negates these symptoms, but in any case, you should be mindful of the caffeine.

I haven’t had any adverse reactions from either product in any shape or form. The only precaution is not to take VYvamind in the afternoon. Other than that, neither it nor Mind Lab Pro has caused me any issues.

Vyvamind shares only a few gleaming reviews on their website. I admit it is a great product, but having full access to people’s opinions is a much better indicator of confidence from any manufacturer.

My Experience With Vyvamind And Mind Lab Pro

Vyvamind vs Mind Lab Pro Benefits

 Both products work generally as intended. Vyvamind delivers an almost instantaneous energy surge and greatly boosts focus simply because caffeine is the best natural stimulant to deliver these effects.

And unlike coffee, which my body sadly disagrees with, I don’t get the awful jittery feeling when taking Vyvamind. I feel more dialed in, and my mind is not as restless, and I am generally more productive.

Mind Lab Pro also works well for me, but not as quickly or to the extent of Vyvamind. But that’s not its intended use.

The biggest effect I can point to is the better memory retention and recall I experienced in the third and fourth week of my test period, which is especially valuable when recording podcasts.

I try to be extra mindful of my condition when testing nootropics (or any supplement), and I can confidently say Mind Lab Pro has boosted my brain power in some ways. But the more immediate effect of Vyvamind is what I like more, to be honest.

Should You Choose Vyvamind Or Mind Lab Pro?

The answer largely depends on your preference. If you want an instant effect, go with Vyvamind. If you prefer not to use stimulants and want more long-term effects, choose Mind Lab Pro.

I prefer Vyvamind because the ingredients are well-dosed, and I can always rely on it whenever I need to be sharp and alert. There aren’t speculative substances in it, only proven ingredients to deliver trusty results, and this is something I am very fond of.

But Mind Lab Pro takes advantage of a lot more ingredients, and the research shows that users performed better in mental tasks after using it. I have also felt my memory become more trustworthy when taking the supplement.

So, your choice will be determined by the preference for short-term, easily noticeable effects or more subtle ones felt after prolonged use.
