They prioritize compassion, community, and quality, using only the highest-grade, clinically researched ingredients in their US-based, GMP-compliant facilities.

Their commitment to purity and potency ensures that their supplements deliver superior health benefits, embodying their mission to help individuals lead longer, healthier lives.

MoveMD Ingredients

The MoveMD formula contains 5 ingredients, all found in nature and widely used in joint pain supplements.

AprésFlex Boswellia Serrata Gum Resin Extract – 100 mg

Boswellia extract is a gum or resin found in frankincense trees in India and the Punjab region of Pakistan. Long used in many traditional medicines worldwide, the extract offers many health benefits for the entire body but is particularly useful when maintaining healthy joints.

Its benefits for the joints include helping reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation in the joints, treat the pain and symptoms experienced by people with osteoarthritis or cartilage, hip or knee damage, and even combat swelling and inflammation in other parts of the human body, such as the brain [1].

However, research suggests that for Boswellia extract to produce optimal effects, you must use at least 1,000 mg daily.

While 100 mg of Boswellia extract can be useful in joint supplements full of other optimally dosed ingredients, using it in a supplement with a small formula like this is pointless.

Zanthin Natural Astaxanthin Algae Extract – 2 mg

Astaxanthin is an aquatic carotenoid extracted from certain types of algae and used in various supplements due to the wide-ranging benefits linked to its use.

This includes preventing or reducing inflammation, oxidative stress, and damage, keeping the joints and connective tissues strong and healthy, and repairing any damage that is already present.

There are also claims that it can enhance the production of DNA, boost the health of your heart, hair, skin, and eyes, prevent brain fog and high blood pressure and cholesterol, support the immune system, and improve your mental processing speed.

However, most studies have not found any evidence to support these claims, and even those have said that you must consume between 6 and 8 mg per day to produce them [2].

This means the 2 mg in each serving of the MoveMD supplement is essentially worthless.

Types I, V & X Eggshell Membrane Collagen – 100 mg

Eggshell membrane is a source of types I, V, and type X collagen, as well as glycosaminoglycans, all of which have been shown to improve joint health and the health of the eyes, hair, and bones.

It can even encourage natural collagen production in the placenta and boost your sleep quality.

Some studies show these types of collagen can be particularly useful in a joint supplement, as they can reduce joint pain, repair cartilage damage, improve joint mobility and functions, and combat an autoimmune disease like osteoarthritis, especially in the knees, where it can lead to chronic knee pain.

However, those same studies suggest that 500 mg of these types of collagen must be included in supplements for it to have any effect.

This means the 100 mg of eggshell membrane collagen present in each serving of MoveMD is far too low to be of use [3].

Type II Chicken Sternum Collagen – 280 mg

Type II collagen, also sometimes called UC-II standardized cartilage, is a type of collagen that comes from either fish or, as is the case here, chicken.

Studies show that it can improve cartilage production, elasticity, and flexibility and help prevent or combat joint pain and stiffness, especially in the knee.

Unfortunately, there are several issues with its use in joint support supplements like this. Not only is type II collagen deemed one of the least valuable types of collagen to include in supplements, but studies also show that you must consume at least 2.5 grams per day for it to have any notable benefit.

This means that while the 280 mg present in each serving of MoveMD may be of some slight use to the joints, it is present in such a small dose that anything it does will likely go unnoticed [4].

Hyaluronic Acid – 25 mg

Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide well known for supporting cartilage and joint health, strengthening connective tissues, improving joint mobility, flexibility, and elasticity, and relieving joint pain and stiffness, especially in the knee.

It can also benefit many other parts of the body, as hyaluronic acid can boost the health and elasticity of the skin, reduce healing time, wrinkles, and signs of aging, and enhance the health and function of the eyes.

However, studies show that to produce these effects, you must consume at least 200 mg of hyaluronic acid per day [5]. As the MoveMD supplement contains just a fraction of this, at 25 mg per serving, its inclusion will more than likely do absolutely nothing.

MoveMD Price

The MoveMD supplement can be purchased on the official website for $49 for a one-month supply, $129 for a three-month supply, and $222 for a six-month supply, which works out at $1.63, $1.43, or $1.23 per serving, respectively.

Subscriptions are also available, which offer a 20, 30, or 40 percent discount, depending on whether you purchase one, three, or six bottles at a time.

MoveMD Benefits

Reduces Joint Discomfort

MoveMD is designed to provide relief from joint discomfort, particularly for individuals suffering from conditions like arthritis.

The supplement claims to reduce pain and discomfort within as little as five days, allowing users to experience a noticeable improvement in their joint health and overall comfort quickly.

Enhances Joint Flexibility and Mobility

One of the primary benefits of MoveMD is its ability to improve joint flexibility and mobility. The ingredients in MoveMD work together to support the health and function of the joints, making movements smoother and less painful.

This can be especially beneficial for individuals who struggle with stiffness and limited range of motion due to joint issues.

Supports Healthy Inflammation Response

MoveMD includes ingredients like AprésFlex Boswellia Serrata Extract, known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

These components help reduce inflammation in the joints, a common cause of pain and stiffness. By supporting a healthy inflammation response, MoveMD aids in maintaining joint health and function.

Suitable for All Ages

MoveMD is designed for people of all ages, making it a versatile option for anyone looking to improve their joint health.

Whether you are a younger individual dealing with sports-related joint issues or an older adult facing age-related joint deterioration, MoveMD aims to offer benefits that can help improve your quality of life.

Free from Common Allergens

MoveMD is formulated without common allergens like peanuts, shellfish, and wheat. This makes it a safe choice for individuals with allergies or dietary restrictions, ensuring that more people can benefit from its joint-supporting properties without adverse reactions.

Money-Back Guarantee

To provide additional assurance, MoveMD comes with a 90-day money-back guarantee. This allows users to try the supplement risk-free and see if it works for their needs.

If unsatisfied, customers can return the product for a full refund, making it a more attractive option for those hesitant about trying new supplements.

Who Is MoveMD For?

People Suffering From Joint Pain

MoveMD is primarily geared toward people who suffer from joint pain or discomfort. Videos on the website claim it can help people see notable improvements in both areas within a week, no matter their age or fitness.

Anyone Who Wants To Improve Their Joint Health

More videos suggest the capsules are ideal for anyone interested in improving joint health. If you support the joints before any pain sets in, you can keep them healthy and prevent issues like damage and stiffness before they begin.

My Experience With MoveMD

I decided to try MoveMD to address my persistent hip and knee pain. The price was notably high, which I rationalized by the supplement’s promised benefits. Despite my hopes, the experience was less than satisfactory.

When I received the bottle, I noticed that the capsules were quite large, which made them difficult to swallow. This wasn’t a major deterrent at first, but it did add a level of discomfort to my daily routine.

I took the supplement each morning as recommended, hoping to see the promised improvements in joint health and pain levels.

Unfortunately, after a month of consistent use, I noticed no significant changes in my condition. The pain in my hips and knees remained the same, without any noticeable reduction in discomfort or improvement in mobility. This lack of results was disappointing, especially considering the high cost of the supplement.

Additionally, I experienced some mild nausea shortly after taking the capsules. While this side effect wasn’t severe, it was enough to add to my overall dissatisfaction with the product.

The combination of the high price, lack of effectiveness, and unpleasant side effects made me feel that MoveMD was not worth the investment.

MoveMD Customers Reviews

The MoveMD supplement currently holds an average review score of 3.8 out of 5 stars on Amazon. This is based on feedback from customers who have made a verified purchase and left a review on the site, and it is far from impressive.

When looking at people who did leave a positive review for the supplement, a common theme seemed to be that it could improve the pain and mobility levels of people dealing with a chronic health issue, such as knee osteoarthritis. However, most said that its effects were mild.

However, when we examined customers who left the supplement a negative review after making a verified purchase, we encountered a much wider range of issues.

While some customers say it made no difference to their joint health or pain, others criticized the stuff’s price, the capsules’ size, only receiving half the advertised number of capsules, and the brand not honoring the money-back guarantee they advertise.

Some customers said the capsules caused them to experience side effects, such as water retention, nausea, rashes, itching, allergic reactions, and leg swelling, making walking difficult. It even actually made pain levels worse.

MoveMD Side Effects

MoveMD, like any supplement, can potentially cause side effects in some individuals. For example, I felt slightly nauseous after taking MoveMD, which subsided.

Users have reported experiencing nausea, which may be due to the ingredients or the size of the capsules.

Complaints have also been made about the capsules’ large size, which can be difficult for some people to swallow.

Other side effects reported include rashes, itching, allergic reactions, and, in some cases, an actual increase in pain levels.

While not everyone experiences these side effects, it’s essential to be aware of them before starting the supplement. If any adverse reactions occur, it’s advisable to discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

MoveMD Alternatives

FlexAgain

FlexAgain

FlexAgain is easily the best joint supplement on the market. It contains the Boswellia extract we saw above and is mixed with a potent selection of ingredients like vitamin D, vitamin K2 glucosamine, and chondroitin sulfate, enabling it to support joint health from every angle.

Whether you are suffering from joint pain or stiffness, muscle soreness, or even conditions like arthritis, this supplement can treat or even cure your condition incredibly quickly while also benefiting many other parts of the body in various ways.

You can read my in-depth breakdown in my FlexAgain review.

Joint Buddy

Joint Buddy

Joint Buddy is another of the top joint supplements on the market. Using a potent vitamin and mineral complex, as well as proven ingredients like glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, it can improve joint health and combat joint pain from countless angles.

While this supplement is not quite as effective as FlexAgain, it is also quite a bit cheaper. This makes it a good option for people on a tighter budget who are seeking joint supplements that offer the best value, especially given its inclusion of glucosamine and chondroitin.

You can read my in-depth breakdown in my Joint Buddy review.

Osteo Bi-Flex Triple Strength

Osteo Bi Flex

Osteo Bi-Flex Triple Strength is another supplement that mixes Boswellia with ingredients like vitamin D, glucosamine, and chondroitin. Admittedly, the doses are lower in Osteo Bi-Flex Triple Strength than in some of the very top supplements, yet this is also reflected in the low price tag.

This is particularly noteworthy for a supplement containing glucosamine and chondroitin, and it makes Osteo Bi-Flex Triple Strength one of the better supplements for people who are suffering from joint pain and interested in taking glucosamine & chondroitin but who are also shopping on a very tight budget.

You can read my in-depth breakdown in my Osteo Bi-Flex review.

Summary

1MD Nutrition says their MoveMD capsules are one of the top joint supplements and can help people of any age combat joint pain and issues. However, my experience says otherwise.

I believe there are better joint supplement options available, such as FlexAgain.
