Having produced quality kimonos for Badboy under license between 2009 and 2011, running a successful Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament in Denver Colorado in 2014 and sponsoring some of the world’s greatest Brazilian MMA fighters including World Champion Fabricio Werdum, why REVGEAR has never made a serious move into the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu market, beyond the starter “Ultimate” BJJ Gi, is anyone’s guess.

Well not quite. REVGEAR has been a multi discipline brand for many years and when BJJ really started to split from Mixed Martial Arts as an industry, the original California fight brand maybe wasn’t ready to go with it. However that’s all about to change.
Coming in the summer of 2017, REVGEAR is announcing its intention to release a full range of kimonos including a redesign of their hugely popular, the Ultimate Starter Gi. But the range will include much more with four new kimono designs, IBJJF ranked rashguards, spats and all with a new logo, which encapsulates the brands genuine southern California heritage.
