L-Tyrosine

L-tyrosine is another important ingredient in improving cognitive function. This amino acid has been shown to improve cognitive flexibility, enhancing the ability to switch tasks [1].

L-tyrosine is especially helpful in stressful conditions or when cognitive demands are high, boosting mental performance when it is most needed [2].

However, the doses employed in research begin at 2 g on the low end when seeing cognitive enhancements. Vyvamind only contains 300 mg of L-tyrosine, which is likely not giving you a nootropic effect.

There’s not one nootropic, including L-tyrosine, that has a 2 g dose, so it’s on par with the rest of the field.

Citicoline

Citicoline is frequently brought up in conversations concerning memory enhancement. According to research, 500 mg daily may increase episodic memory or the ability to recall personal experiences and specific events, particularly in older persons [3].
