Vyvamind vs. NooCube (I Tried Both): Who Wins In 2024?


Vyvamind and NooCube are two of the most popular nootropic supplements. I have and like them both. NooCube was my first foray into brain supplements and I feel benefits when performing mentally demanding tasks (like writing this review).

But I also can’t go past the guaranteed cognitive benefits of Vyvamind with the greatest nootropic stack of caffeine and L-theanine.

How do they stack up head to head?

Vyvamind and NooCube take different approaches to the same goal- increased mental and cognitive function. Vyvamind is a stimulant-based nootropic that produces fast and dependable focus, energy, and clarity boosts.

NooCube’s stimulant-free formula aims to provide continuous cognitive enhancement, reduce stress, and improve memory. NooCube has more ingredients, but Vyvamind’s are better researched and more appropriately dosed.

The choice between the two comes down to your preference for the instant focus and motivation Vyvamind provides or the sustained all-around brain optimization from NooCube.

Vyvamind is a cognitive enhancer that promotes mental performance and focus. SAP Nutrition LTD manufactures and distributes this product.

Vyvamind’s ingredients work together to boost a number of mental functions. The formula is centered around caffeine and L-theanine and shows great promise in providing constant attention without the jitters and crashes associated with conventional caffeine products.

What Is NooCube?

NooCube claims to be an all-in-one daily nootropic formula that improves memory and mental alertness. It is owned and manufactured by Wolfson Brands of the United Kingdom.

Wolfson products produce many more supplements, including Crazy Nutrition, Biotics 8, and Testoprime.

The all-natural blend of nearly a dozen ingredients is well appreciated by users. For some, the effects are more immediate, while others feel the benefits after taking the supplement for some time, but either way, for most people, cognition on NooCube is better.

Vyvamind vs. NooCube Main Differences


Many of the promised benefits of the two products overlap, but not all, and the approach is different.

Thanks to the caffeine inside, Vyvamind gives you a near-instant energy boost and mental clarity. The content is well-dosed, so it’s not overwhelming like in other products.

The other ingredients work together to focus your attention on the most important task and spend the extra energy on it.

NooCube’s benefits are not as immediate but are greater in quantity. The nootropic promises reduced stress, sharp focus, improved problem-solving skills, better memory, and something many of us need- protection of the eyes from screen-related fatigue.

This comes in a no-stimulant package, which you can use at any time of the day.


NooCube vs Vyvamind

Both Vyvamind and NooCube’s labels list all of their component doses. This allows for comparisons with scientific research, giving you the knowledge of whether you receive the appropriate dose for the benefits.

Vyvamind relies heavily on the caffeine + L-theanine stack, a well-researched power combination.

Caffeine has been shown to boost reaction time, visual processing speed, working memory, and alertness and reduce tiredness and mental fatigue, while L-theanine alleviates the jitters and anxiety that many people experience with caffeine [1][2].

The remaining two substances in Vyvamind are L-Tyrosine and Citicoline. L-tyrosine is known to improve task switching and mental performance under stressful settings [3][4], while citicoline is good for memory [5]. Keep in mind that both are slightly underdosed in the formulation.

NooCube has a lot more ingredients and a wider range of benefits. The list of proven effective ingredients starts with L-theanine and L-tyrosine, which are also present in Vyvamind.

To that, we can add Bacopa Monnieri, which has clear benefits in memory retention, memory recall, and general enhancement of genitive performance [6][7][8].

Panax Ginseng is another well-known substance for its memory and mental arithmetic enhancements [9][10][11].  

In addition to these known nootropics, there are a few more ingredients with various proof of efficacy, like Lutemax2020 (supposedly responsible for eye fatigue reduction), Resveratrol, and Pterostilbene.

Stimulant vs. Non-Stimulant

Vyvamind is a stimulant nootropic, and NooCube is a no-stimulant product. Depending on your current needs, both have pros and cons.

Stimulants provide immediate results that you may rely on whenever you face a difficult assignment, like a work deadline or an exam.

It’s why I’ve ranked Vyvamind the best nootropic for energy.

On the other hand, the same stimulant will disrupt your sleep if you take it too late in the day, and doing so regularly will have a net negative result in the long run.

Nootropics without stimulants, such as NooCube, do not have the same immediate effect, but they can be used at any time of day to provide a less pronounced focus and clarity boost.

Short vs. Long-Term Effects

The same thing also determines short- and long-term effects. Vyvamind’s caffein/L-theanine mix provides short-term benefits to mental performance.

With fewer ingredients in general, the long-term effects are less. Even so, the manufacturer advises customers to take the supplement for 2-3 months, during which time the effect accumulates.

NooCube takes the opposite approach and relies on more substances to work together to give you better memory, mental alertness, and focus and reduce brain fog in a more sustained way.

Reduced stress, increased attention ability, and overall cognitive performance are usually felt gently with a stacking effect over time.

Clinical Research

All 4 of Vyvamind’s ingredients are well-researched, and their efficiency is proven. Although some of them are underdosed compared to the studies, they are still in better proportions than NooCube.

NooCube, on the other hand, has many more substances; some are well documented, others not, as I explained in the ingredients section of this article.

The fact they are considered speculative does not mean they don’t work, but more proof is required before we can say precisely how much is needed from an ingredient and the full scope of effects.

Neither has clinical research on the entire formulation, the ultimate study for any supplement.

Side Effects

No side effects are recorded or expected from the two supplements. However, Vyvamind has caffeine, and you need to be mindful when taking it, especially if you are sensitive to it.

You may experience a weird jitter feeling, increased heart rate, sleep disruption, and an energy crash after the caffeine effect wears off.

And as always, for people with preexisting conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or on specific medication, always consult your physician first.

My Experience With Vyvamind And NooCube

As expected, Vyvamind works. The caffeine + L-theanine is a proven nootropic stack, which you can always rely on to boost your clarity and focus.

The energy surge combined with mental clarity and concentration is always welcome when I have challenging tasks like recording a podcast on a complex subject or writing a lengthy article filled with scientific research.

It takes 20 minutes and I feel “dialled in” and more focused than previously.

My experience with NooCube has also been positive, although it works differently. Sometimes, I have to record a podcast in the evening depending on my guest’s time zone and availability, and I can’t rely on caffeine for that.

NooCube has consistently provided me with heightened awareness and better memory retention without any anxiety and jitters. Perhaps the synergistic effect of all the ingredients works as intended despite many underdosed ingredients.

Should You Choose Vyvamind Or NooCube?

The answer lies in your personal needs. As a stimulant-based nootropic, Vyvamind is perfect for those on a tight deadline or pulling an all-nighter before an exam.

It’s also a great pick me up to take each morning and enjoy the mental clarity and energy boost.

NooCube, on the other hand, is unlikely to help you immediately. You will need to take it for a few days before the effects can become noticeable.

It is the better product for people looking to slow cognitive decline, decrease work-related stress, and enhance various mental performance areas without energy crashes.

Here is a brief summary of how to choose between Vyvamind and NooCube. If you need immediate cognitive improvement for a specific task, Vyvamind is the better option.

While Vyvamind is excellent for daily use, it shines more with people doing short-term, challenging cognitive tasks.
