Newly signed UFC Fighter Albert “The Warrior” Morales has had a great 12 months!
After pushing his Professional MMA Record to 6 straight victories Albert got a featured spot on the new MMA TV show “Looking for a Fight” Episode Seven. On the show, after witnessing his Round 1 20 second knock out of experienced fighter Mario Israel at RFA 38, Dana White decided to sign him for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. If this wasn’t enough he’s joined the new generation of top fight sports talent on TEAM REVGEAR alongside European counterparts such as Arnold Allen, Davey Grant and Saul Rogers.
Morales represents a new generation of young up and coming fighters who fell in love with the UFC at age 9. While motivating him to start martial arts training his childhood hero was not Bruce Lee or Tito Ortiz, but Kobe Bryant the famous Basketball player whose dedication and passion as a sportsman inspired the young Albert to dedicate himself to his training in the fight game.
Now holding a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu he mixes up his training at Carlson Gracie South Bay, Chute Boxe USA and The Movement Boxing in his home of Los Angeles California.
Even after achieving the dream of many young fighters by entering the coveted UFC Albert is also stoked to be joining another coveted organization.
The revival of Team Revgear re ignited a long standing relationship between Revgear Sports and Albert’s management: Iridium Sports Agency. These two working together help combine America’s best fight brand and the best up and coming fighters in the world.
“Albert represents the direction the REVGEAR is taking in the Combat Sports arena; he’s young, hungry and talented and a great athlete. We’re happy to have in on board” Paul Reavlin, REVGEAR President.
His UFC Debut in 2016 with Alejandro Pérez ended in a majority draw. That followed by a TKO loss to Thomas Almeida may have represented a tough start to his UFC career. However with a hugely positive mental attitude, a great team to work with, and the worlds best fight gear behind him we are expecting a bright future for both Albert “The Warrior”Morales and TEAM REVGEAR in 2017.
