Combat Jiu Jitsu: The Realest Grappling on the Planet

Tejana firecracker Paulina Granados takes us backstage at the Combat Jiu Jitsu Worlds in Cancun Mexico for Fight Day

Combat Jiu Jitsu is the newest kid on the block in the grappling world. After lurking in the shadows, its time has finally come to shine.

CJJ was created by 10th Planet founder Eddie Bravo as a more realistic martial art. Eddie felt that sport Jiu Jitsu had moved far from Maeda’s original vision and was full of unrealistic moves that would never work in a real life scenario. It bridges the gap between MMA and Jiu Jitsu, allowing open palm strikes while on the ground. From the fringes of the grappling world, Combat Jiu Jitsu is now a thriving sport that has captured the imagination of a new generation of athletes.

One of those athletes is Paulina Granados, a very game atomweight fighter. In the recent Combat Jiu Jitsu Worlds in Cancun, Mexico, she competed in the flyweight division, fighting two classes heavier than she  normally does.

Paulina’s Fight Day video gives you access to the behind the scenes shenanigans that you didn’t get to see on the official broadcast. Joined by her best friend and partner in crime, Juliana Miller, Paulina Immerses you in the backstage world of the fight game. From three girls one tub to squaring off with her much larger opponent, this is one Fight Day VIP pass that you don’t want to miss. Laughs, tears, banter and shots: join Paulina for her CJJ journey.
