Quick Verdict

In most comparisons of fat-burning supplements I make, PhenQ often prevails, but in this case, the winner is Instant Knockout.

The formulation is masterfully crafted to provide optimal energy and fat-burning properties for anyone hitting the gym hard and serious about losing fat.

PhenQ is also an excellent product, and given its lower price, it can be the better solution for people sensitive to caffeine, working out less frequently, or not as hard. But for me, Instant Knockout delivers on its name, out-striking PhenQ.

What Is PhenQ

Is PhenQ Legit

PhenQ is a popular dietary supplement praised as a weight loss treatment that combines several benefits into a single pill. It is intended to promote fat loss, decrease hunger, increase energy levels, and prevent the formation of new fat cells.

Unlike many other weight reduction products, PhenQ claims to approach weight control through many methods, tackling the various aspects that cause weight gain.

The recipe includes natural compounds such as caffeine, capsicum extract, and a-Lacys Reset®, which work synergistically to boost metabolism, reduce food cravings, and improve mood.

PhenQ is frequently marketed as a comprehensive, multi-action solution for people seeking to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle.

However, like with any supplement, results may vary, and for the best results, it should be used in conjunction with a well-balanced diet and regular exercise.

PhenQ vs. Instant Knockout Main Differences

Instant Knockout vs PhenQ

Benefits

PhenQ and Instant Knockout are two supplements that have gained popularity for their potential to aid in weight loss and fat burning.

Both products are designed to help users achieve a leaner physique, though they work through slightly different mechanisms.

PhenQ is a supplement that takes a multifaceted approach to weight loss. It works by increasing the body’s natural ability to burn fat through a process called thermogenesis, which raises your body temperature and boosts metabolism.

This helps to accelerate fat loss by encouraging the breakdown of stored fat for energy. In addition to its fat-burning properties, PhenQ also helps to suppress appetite.

Instant Knockout, originally developed for professional fighters, is also highly effective for fat loss. Like PhenQ, it promotes thermogenesis, leading to increased fat burning.

However, Instant Knockout also strongly emphasizes enhancing overall athletic performance, making it ideal for high-intensity workouts.

The supplement helps boost energy and focus, which is crucial for maintaining workout intensity and ensuring that fat loss is paired with muscle preservation.

Ingredients

PhenQ and Instant Knockout are among the best weight management supplements. As such, they contain comprehensive and transparent ingredient lists with a few matching components.

A-Lacys Reset is a key PhenQ component, which is a patented mix of alpha-lipoic acid and cysteine.

It’s designed to boost metabolism and speed up the body’s thermogenic processes, allowing you to burn more calories. In clinical trials, people who took a-Lacys Reset lost 7.24% of their body fat and 3.44% of their body weight while increasing muscle mass by 3.80% [1].

PhenQ’s Capsimax Powder contains capsicum, piperine, caffeine, and niacin, a very potent combination of fat burners. Capsicum and caffeine are also separate ingredients in the Instant Knockout formulation.

Piperine (black pepper) boosts the bioavailability of other nutrients, helping the body absorb them better [2][3]. Because it makes everything else more potent, it is an almost mandatory inclusion in most comprehensive supplements.

Capsicum is derived from red chili peppers and contains thermogenic properties that increase metabolism. Capsaicinoids have been shown to induce thermogenesis, increase fat oxidation, and decrease appetite [10].

Instant Knockout also contains 100 mg of Cayenne pepper, which is a solid dose.

Another interesting PhenQ ingredient is chromium picolinate. This mineral regulates blood glucose levels and reduces cravings for carbohydrates and sugar.

A study discovered that participants who took chromium picolinate had lower food consumption, hunger, and desire for fat [4].

Caffeine is a well-known stimulant that increases alertness and decreases fatigue. It is also part of both supplements.

In addition to the well-known effects most people use caffeine for, the substance also boosts metabolic rate, which promotes fat reduction. According to a study, coffee can enhance the resting metabolic rate by 3–11% [6][7].

Instant Knockout has a significantly higher caffeine dose of 300 mg. While this is excellent for an energy boost, the dose can be too high for some people.

Instant knockout also contains the amino acid L-theanine to curb the potential side effects of caffeine.

L-theanine promotes a calm state of focus and relaxation without causing drowsiness, but perhaps more important in this case is its synergizing effect with caffeine, drastically reducing the jitters and restlessness a high stimulant dose can cause [14][15].

PhenQ also contains Innoslim, a mixture of Astragalus membranaceous and Panax notoginseng extracts. Innoslim has been shown to enhance adiponectin levels, which regulate glucose and fatty acid breakdown [11].

Iodine is also an ingredient in PhenQ. Iodine is necessary for proper thyroid function, which regulates metabolism [9].

Both supplements contain B vitamins. PhenQ incorporates B3, B6, and B12, while Instant Knockout has B6 and B12. These vitamins support metabolism and various bodily functions.

Instant Knockout also contains 45 mcg of vitamin D, which is important for bone health and the immune system and is also suggested to aid in weight management by influencing the storage and breakdown of fat cells [16].

PhenQ contains Nopal Cactus, a fiber-rich plant that decreases appetite. Studies have also indicated that nopal can help reduce hunger and fat absorption, resulting in long-term weight loss [8].

PhenQ contains the amino acid L-carnitine fumarate, which helps transform stored fat into energy, boosting physical performance and decreasing fatigue [5].

The main appetite suppressant in Instant Knockout is Glucomannan, a dietary fiber extracted from the Konjac plant.

The dose is 1800 mg per serving, and its function is to expand in the stomach and create a sense of fullness.

Many scientific studies support its efficacy, showing that it can significantly aid in weight loss when combined with a healthy diet and exercise [12].

The last ingredient in Instant Knockout is 500 mg of green tea extract. Rich in antioxidants, particularly catechins, it helps enhance metabolic rate, allowing for more efficient fat burning.

Studies have shown that combining caffeine with catechins can increase calorie expenditure and fat oxidation, making it an ideal ingredient for a fat-burning supplement [13].

Effectiveness

PhenQ vs Instant Knockout Ingredients

The two products are among the most effective weight loss supplements I’ve tried. PhenQ’s most dramatic effect was reducing hunger, which made a massive difference in the rate at which I lost fat. My energy levels were also noticeably elevated, contributing to the effectiveness of my workouts.

Instant Knockout produced a similar result, but the effects on feeling full and on my fat-burning rate were even greater.

As someone who regularly lifts heavy and does BJJ, the energy surge, especially for morning sessions, was a game changer.

Clinical Research

Clinical research on PhenQ highlights its key ingredients, like ?-Lacys Reset, Capsimax Powder, and caffeine, which have shown promising effects in weight loss.

Studies suggest that ?-Lacys Reset helps reduce body fat and weight by boosting metabolism and thermogenesis.

Capsimax Powder, derived from chili peppers, has been associated with increased fat oxidation and energy expenditure.

Widely studied, caffeine has demonstrated benefits in enhancing metabolism and energy, contributing to fat-burning, and improving physical performance.

While these ingredients have supporting studies, research on PhenQ as a complete supplement is still limited.

Instant Knockout, initially designed for professional athletes and fighters, also contains ingredients like green tea extract, caffeine, and cayenne pepper.

Clinical studies on green tea extract show its potential to increase fat oxidation, especially when combined with caffeine, which amplifies metabolic rate and fat-burning efficiency.

Cayenne pepper’s capsaicin component, similar to Capsimax, is known for boosting thermogenesis.

However, like PhenQ, more comprehensive studies on Instant Knockout as a full formula are needed to confirm its effectiveness in long-term weight management.

Side Effects

Both PhenQ and Instant Knockout, like many weight loss supplements, may cause side effects, particularly due to their stimulant content and thermogenic properties.

PhenQ contains caffeine, which can lead to side effects like jitteriness, anxiety, headaches, or insomnia, especially for those sensitive to stimulants.

The Capsimax Powder in PhenQ, which includes capsaicin, may cause mild digestive discomfort or stomach irritation in some users.

Though generally well-tolerated, some may also experience nausea or bloating from ingredients like nopal (a fiber-rich cactus extract) or chromium picolinate, which can sometimes lead to dizziness or gastrointestinal issues.

Instant Knockout, also high in caffeine from ingredients like green tea extract and caffeine anhydrous, can cause similar stimulant-related side effects. Users may experience restlessness, elevated heart rate, or difficulty sleeping.

Cayenne pepper extract, another key ingredient, might lead to stomach discomfort or burning sensations. In rare cases, those sensitive to high levels of caffeine may experience more severe effects like rapid heartbeat, palpitations, or heightened anxiety.

User Reviews

Reading about the effects of PhenQ online has given me the impression that it can cause anything from minor weight loss to major transformations.

According to users, the greatest results are shown after multiple months of use. For some people like me, all it takes is a little extra push to reach their objectives. Even a month of intake can be enough to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

There are some negative reviews and customers who have had mixed experiences. Even while these reviewers did see results, a lot of them thought it was too slow.

Others believe their results are courtesy of their efforts in the gym and in diet, with the supplement contributing little.

Instant Knockout’s official website review section is currently offline. Third-party websites do have some reviews, and they are mostly favorable, with users praising the product’s enormous benefits.

However, there are legitimate concerns regarding the high cost and potential adverse effects. Some people get headaches, and not everyone tolerates the heat buildup, a common side effect of the supplement functioning as intended.

Users typically remark on the high caffeine level in their reviews. For many, it’s a benefit because it keeps them motivated and energized, but for those who are more sensitive to stimulants, the effect is overwhelming.

My Experience With PhenQ And Instant Knockout

Instant Knockout vs PhenQ Benefits

I had an excellent experience with PhenQ. It was unexpected that I could lose twenty pounds in just over three weeks. Diet and exercise were the cornerstones of my weight loss journey, but I haven’t had such rapid progress in a long time.

After the first week of using PhenQ, I noticed a decrease in my usual post-training strong hunger. By the end of the second week, I felt invigorated and could push myself to my physical limitations.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that my mood had significantly improved, even though losing weight was the primary objective.

Instant Knockout hits home with my goals, as it was initially designed for MMA fighters and boxers cutting weight.

The high caffeine dose is perfect for morning BJJ or lifting sessions. Its effect on my appetite was significant, and my cravings were all but gone, even after hard days.

After two months with the supplement, I lost 10 lbs, which may not sound as much, but I was already in good shape, and the loss was pure fat.

On the negative side, the four capsules spread throughout the day leave a high chance of me forgetting to take one or two, and the one before dinner still contains caffeine, which can have negative effects on sleep.

But the results I’ve seen completely justify the minor inconveniences.

Should You Choose PhenQ or Instant Knockout

Both supplements are great, and I recommend them, but Instant Knockout is better for my needs.

Formulated for fighters and athletes, the supplement combines a mighty energy boost with intense thermogenetic properties for optimal fat loss aid for anyone serious in their training and diet.

PhenQ is similar in function and price and was highly effective during my test. However, I find the Instant Knockout mix better suited for hard training.

The blend of high caffeine, L-theanine, and green tea extract works almost miraculously to enhance energy and fat burning.

For the most serious of you, Instant Knockout is the better choice, but for someone not training as hard or more sensitive to caffeine, PhenQ can be the right pick.
