PhenQ vs. Modere (I Tried Both): Who Wins In 2024?

Quick Verdict

PhenQ outperforms Modere Trim in every domain. Its five-stage formula addresses all areas of weight management and fat loss and is one of the most effective supplements of its kind I’ve ever tried.

On the other hand, Modere Trim tries to be a weight loss and wellness product at the same time but does neither well.

Its formulation has only one fat-loss ingredient, making it inferior to most other products in the segment. The extra high price further diminishes its value, and I firmly believe PhenQ is better in every way.

What is PhenQ

PhenQ is a dietary supplement for weight management. It is marketed as a solution that combines the benefits of multiple weight-loss products in one pill.

It targets five main areas that can influence body weight: burning stored fat, suppressing appetite, blocking fat production, boosting energy, and enhancing mood.

PhenQ’s formula includes a blend of natural ingredients, such as caffeine, capsicum extract, and chromium picolinate, which are commonly used in weight management for their metabolic and appetite-modulating effects.

PhenQ is positioned as a convenient option for those seeking comprehensive weight loss support without using multiple supplements.

The makers also emphasize that the product can help reduce cravings, a significant barrier for many people trying to manage their calorie intake.

What Is Modere Trim

Modere Trim is a popular dietary supplement that aids in weight loss and muscular tone.

The product is part of Modere’s portfolio of health and wellness solutions. Its goal is to provide people with a convenient way to improve their appearance and general health.

What distinguishes Modere Trim from many other supplements on the market is its composition and liquid form, which include essential nutrients such as Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) and Liquid Biocell®.

The company also produces a couple of other weight management products, Modere Burn and Modere Curb, which focus on different areas of weight loss. Modere Burn aims to increase metabolism and thermogenesis, while Curb is designed as an appetite control supplement.

PhenQ vs. Modere Trim Main Differences

Benefits

PhenQ and Modere Trim are both popular supplements in the weight management market, but they have unique benefits and approaches.

PhenQ offers a multifaceted approach to weight loss. One of its main benefits is fat burning, attributed to thermogenic ingredients like caffeine and capsicum extract, which may increase the body’s metabolism and calorie expenditure.

PhenQ is also designed to suppress appetite, making it easier to stick to a reduced-calorie diet while blocking the production of new fat cells.

It includes ingredients like chromium picolinate to help regulate blood sugar levels, which may reduce cravings, and ?-Lacys Reset, a patented ingredient aimed at promoting faster fat loss by boosting metabolism and energy.

Modere Trim, on the other hand, is known for its focus on fat metabolism and body composition support. It features two main active ingredients: conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and Liquid BioCell® collagen.

CLA is a naturally occurring fatty acid known for its potential to reduce body fat while preserving lean muscle, making it especially popular among those looking to improve muscle tone.

Liquid BioCell® collagen adds an anti-aging benefit by promoting joint and skin health, as collagen is a major structural protein that tends to decrease with age.

Modere Trim’s liquid form is what sets it apart from other weight loss supplements. This makes it convenient and more easily absorbed by the body. In addition, the product is offered in several different tastes, such as chocolate, vanilla, and several fruit flavors.

Ingredients

Unlike many other weight management supplements, which often have a few matching ingredients, PhenQ and Modere Trim have entirely different formulations. I’ll start with what’s inside PhenQ, as it’s a much better product, in my opinion.

PhenQ has a 145 mg caffeine dose. Caffeine is a well-known stimulant that boosts alertness, decreases weariness, and increases thermogenesis and fat loss. According to studies, coffee can boost the resting metabolic rate by 3-11%. [7].

In addition to caffeine, the Capsimax Power blend in PhenQ contains cayenne pepper extract, piperine, and vitamin B3.

Cayenne pepper extract contains an active element called capsaicin, which has been demonstrated to improve metabolism and calorie burn rate [6]. Capsaicin also helps suppress appetite by inducing sensations of fullness.

Piperine, the active component of black pepper, increases nutrient absorption rates, ensuring that the body efficiently uses the supplement’s components [1].

A-Lacys Reset, a proprietary combination of alpha-lipoic acid and cysteine, is a significant PhenQ ingredient.

It is intended to increase metabolism and accelerate the body’s thermogenic processes, helping you to burn more calories. In clinical trials, people who took a-Lacys Reset lost 7.24% of their body fat, 3.44% of their body weight, and increased muscle mass by 3.80% [8].

Another important PhenQ ingredient is chromium picolinate. This mineral regulates blood glucose levels and curbs appetites for carbohydrates and sugar.

A study found that taking chromium picolinate reduced food consumption, hunger, and a craving for fat [4].

PhenQ also contains Innoslim, a blend of Astragalus membranaceous and Panax notoginseng extracts. Innoslim has been demonstrated to increase adiponectin levels, which regulate glucose and fatty acid breakdown [5].

PhenQ also includes a B vitamin complex. Vitamin B12 is necessary for energy maintenance, and B6 aids in metabolizing fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. The other vitamins in the group offer additional health benefits [2][3].

Conjugated Linoleic Acid, or CLA, is one of Modere Trim’s major constituents.

CLA affects the body’s fat metabolism. It has been demonstrated to reduce body fat and promote muscle building by acting on various metabolic pathways.

Some studies suggest that CLA can aid in the breakdown of bodily fats while also preventing fat cells from forming again. However, the evidence remains inconsistent, with some trials demonstrating limited effects.

The other standout Modere Trim ingredient is Liquid Biocell. Liquid Biocell is a combination of hydrolyzed collagen and chondroitin sulphate.

Collagen is the most prevalent protein in the human body and is essential for the skin, cartilage, and joints.

Hyaluronic acid in Liquid Biocell® provides additional benefits for skin hydration and joint lubrication. While these benefits are nice, I am unsure what place these ingredients have in a weight management supplement.

The other ingredients in Modere Trim are less important and include vegetable glycerin, sunflower seed oil, and a few natural flavor enhancers and sweeteners.

Modere Burn is another popular fat loss product from the same brand which I haven’t tried. Burn essentially has one big proprietary blend consisting of ingredients such as caffeine, cordyceps, berberine, green tea extract, Guarana extract, and a few other plants.

While I haven’t personally tested the product, the blend and its overall 440 mg dose lead me to believe it is even less effective than Trim.

Effectiveness

PhenQ is drastically more effective than Modere. Its multifaceted formula genuinely addresses all aspects of weight loss, which helped me immensely in my efforts to lose as much weight as possible in one month. The end result was an astonishing 20 lbs.

Modere Trim had little to no effect on anything. I stuck to the recommended routine for a whole month but felt no effects and experienced no weight loss.

Clinical Research

Both PhenQ and Modere Trim highlight clinical research as part of their appeal, though their approaches differ in terms of ingredients and evidence supporting effectiveness.

PhenQ’s formula includes patented ingredients like ?-Lacys Reset, which is central to its claims of boosting metabolism and accelerating weight loss.

?-Lacys Reset has been studied in clinical trials that suggest it may help increase thermogenesis (the body’s heat production) and enhance metabolism, leading to more efficient fat burning.

Some trials indicated that participants taking ?-Lacys Reset experienced significant weight loss and reductions in body fat percentage compared to a placebo group.

Research also supports the other active ingredients in PhenQ, such as caffeine and capsicum extract, showing that they can increase energy expenditure and support weight management, though individual results may vary.

Modere Trim, meanwhile, relies on two core components with substantial clinical backing: conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and Liquid BioCell collagen.

CLA has been studied extensively for its potential to reduce body fat and preserve lean muscle mass, with some studies showing positive results in individuals who used CLA supplements alongside a healthy diet and exercise program.

The benefits of Liquid BioCell collagen have also been researched, particularly in the areas of joint health, skin elasticity, and overall appearance, though less so specifically for weight loss.

This collagen component can be beneficial in anti-aging by improving skin hydration and joint comfort, which can enhance overall physical activity and wellness.

Side Effects

Like many supplements, PhenQ and Modere Trim come with potential side effects, largely due to the active ingredients in each product.

Users should be aware of these possible reactions and consider consulting a healthcare professional before starting either supplement if they have underlying health conditions or are on medication.

PhenQ contains stimulants, including caffeine, which can lead to side effects in individuals sensitive to stimulants.

Common side effects might include jitteriness, increased heart rate, headaches, or difficulty sleeping, especially if taken late in the day.

The presence of capsicum extract derived from chili peppers may also cause mild digestive discomfort in some people.

Additionally, PhenQ’s appetite-suppressing effects could lead to issues like nausea or lightheadedness if users are not consuming enough food or fluids.

Modere Trim’s main ingredient, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), is generally well-tolerated, though high doses have been associated with digestive issues, such as stomach upset, diarrhea, and nausea.

Some studies on CLA have noted potential changes in blood sugar and lipid levels, making it important for those with diabetes or high cholesterol to seek medical advice before use.

I haven’t had any issues or negative experiences with either product.

User Reviews

PhenQ has received mainly positive customer responses online. Many people commend the multimodal approach and reveal some astonishing breakthroughs that occurred after a few months of intake. Others are less impressed but are nonetheless pleased with their outcomes.

Of course, not everyone is satisfied. Some consumers notice only minor effects and don’t believe the relatively high price is worth it.

Many clients have appreciated Modere Trim’s effectiveness. Positive reviews frequently mention its impact on weight management and muscle tone.

Users have claimed considerable weight loss and improved muscle definition after using the product consistently.

However, not all of the reviews are positive. Some are disappointed with Modere Trim due to inconsistent outcomes.

One popular critique is the product’s high price, which many people thought excessive, especially given that a bottle only lasts a month.

Several customers reported encountering digestive problems such as bloating and slight stomach aches.

My Experience with PhenQ and Modere Trim

Earlier in this post, when discussing the product’s effectiveness, I said that PhenQ worked really well, which, in numbers, is twenty pounds lost in just under a month. I was on a tight training and nutrition routine, but still, the results surprised me.

During the first week, I experienced decreased hunger and increased motivation to follow the diet plan. After just two weeks of using PhenQ, I saw an uptick in my mood and energy levels, and I was able to pour more effort into my workouts.

For the entire testing month, I steadily kept losing weight, and even though my routines were surely the backbone of this transformation, I’m absolutely certain PhenQ significantly aided the process.

My month-long test of Modere Trim was entirely uneventful. I did not lose any weight, nor did it affect my appetite.

Even if it did something for my metabolism, it did not result in weight loss or any other noticeable difference in my wellbeing.

Should You Choose PhenQ or Modere Trim?

If you look past the marketing claims, there is no real rivalry between PhenQ and Modere Trim. PhenQ has a multimodal formulation that targets five key areas of weight loss and body recomposition, and it does it surprisingly well.

On the other hand, Modere Trim costs more than $100 per month and basically has only one ingredient directly targeting fat loss.

The hydrolyzed collagen and chondroitin sulphate may be beneficial, but they are known for joint lubrication and hair and skin care, so it’s beyond me what their job is in a weight loss supplement.

While Modere Trim tries to do too many things at once and fails in all of them, PhenQ does what it’s supposed to effectively while costing a lot less. So I think the choice between the two is as easy as it gets.
