The two products have a few matching ingredients, and we’ll start with caffeine. The dosage is nearly the same, with Phen24 containing 150 mg and PhenQ 145 mg.
Caffeine is a well-known stimulant that boosts alertness, fights fatigue, and increases thermogenesis and fat burning. Studies show that caffeine can increase the resting metabolic rate by 3-11%, which helps with weight loss [10].
To reduce the possible side effects of caffeine, such as anxiety and jitters, Phen24 contains L-theanine. L-theanine induces relaxation without sleepiness, improving attention and concentration and minimizing the jitters associated with caffeine consumption [6][7].
The two pills also include adequate levels of B vitamins. Vitamin B12 is vital for maintaining energy levels, and B6 aids in the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. The other vitamins in the group have additional health benefits [2][3].
Phen24 also contains vitamins B1 and B5, which are not as commonly used in supplements but are worthy additions given their important functions in metabolic health.

In addition to the B vitamins and L-theanine I described before, the night formula includes L-arginine, L-lysine HCl, 5-HTP, Chromium, and Choline.
L-lysine is an essential amino acid involved in protein synthesis. It promotes muscular repair and growth, calcium absorption, and bone health.
L-lysine also contributes to the production of carnitine, which is required for turning fatty acids into energy and decreasing cholesterol levels [13].
5-HTP, derived from the Griffonia plant, is a precursor to serotonin, the “feel-good” neurotransmitter.
Increasing serotonin levels can improve mood and prevent emotional eating. 5-HTP also enhances sleep by turning into melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep cycles [14].
Effectiveness
Phen24’s two-part strategy is an innovative method I like and believe more companies should use. The daytime pills raised my energy levels without causing jitters, and I feel they increased my metabolism, allowing me to lose weight more quickly.
The overnight segment actually improved my sleep quality and left me feeling more well-rested. This was the most welcome benefit, as I was concerned that the supplement would disrupt my sleep.
Phen24 undoubtedly helped my progress in terms of weight loss. The improvements did not happen immediately, but they were stable and ongoing.
However, PhenQ was more effective for me in terms of weight loss. The effects on my appetite and satiety were much more profound than the metabolic changes.
This allowed me to lose weight at a rate I’ve achieved only with a handful of other supplements.

My Experience with PhenQ and Phen24
As I shared in the effectiveness section of this article, Phen24 was very effective, even surprisingly. In total, I lost 20 lbs in around a month. Of course, I followed a strict diet and exercise routine, but the results were unexpected.
During the first week, I experienced decreased hunger, which made adhering to the diet plan easier and raised my motivation. PhenQ also increased my energy levels and mood, notably from the second week onward.
From there on to the end of my month-long trial, the weight kept incinerating from my body. I don’t think most people will enjoy the same success rate, as even on the PhenQ website, the company says the best results come after around three months of intake, but in my case, they materialized much quicker.
Phen24 piqued my interest with its two-part mix, which includes daytime and nighttime pills. Focusing on nighttime metabolic processes is smart, as most similar supplements target only daytime activity and energy levels.
The day tablets increased my energy, and I saw a drop in my hunger. To be honest, the thermogenic components are too few and underdosed to generate significant results, but I found the overall formulation affected my metabolism.
The nighttime formula was more interesting to me, and I had some reservations about it, but I am pleased to report that it works effectively without negative effects.
The bedtime pill is intended to improve nocturnal calorie burning, but the most noticeable impact was the peaceful sleep I experienced while taking it.
Overall, Phen24 assisted me in achieving long-term weight loss, although the rate was far from what I experienced with PhenQ.
Should You Choose PhenQ or Phen24?
Phen24 is a cool product I enjoy and can recommend to people, but I would always pick the latter if I had to choose between it and PhenQ.
The comprehensive formula profoundly affected my appetite and metabolic process and facilitated rapid weight loss.
Phen24 has a more subtle effect, but the 24-hour system has its own merits, and some may prefer it for its positive effects on sleep, night metabolism, and fat burning.
Both are products of the same company and are priced equally, so the choice is personal preference. But for me, PhenQ is the better fat-burning supplement.
