Henry “OK” Corrales faces the Wolf at Bellator 228

Bellator 228 in Inglewood, CA on September 28th sees Henry Corrales face off against a tough opponent in Darrion Caldwell.

Henry Corrales is looking to take his 18th win against Darrion Caldwell on Bellator 228 on September 28th. The native Californian is returning to his home territory, aiming to hunt down the Wolf and take another scalp for his collection.

Inglewood is close to home for Corrales who grew up in La Mirada, on the other side of LA. The main card of Bellator 228 is dominated by the featherweights, as the 16-man featherweight Grand Prix continues with its first round bouts. The second set of four fights will determine who will be progressing into the quarter finals. With both men looking to go all the way for the Featherweight title, Corrales has his eyes firmly fixed on Caldwell.

Training with Former The LAB striking coach extraordinaire Eddie Cha, Corrales has won his last five fights, including a win against Georgi “Insane” Karakhanyan, who is also in the running for the title. A win against Caldwell could see Corrales face off against Patricio Pitbull, Emmanuel Sanchez or Daniel Straus in return matches where the Californian would be looking for revenge for his first three Bellator bouts back in 2015 and 2016.

Corrales started late to the fight game. In his early 20s, found himself a dead end job, partying with friends and living an unfulfilling life. He discovered MMA and it changed his life. After teaming up with Eddie Cha, he also got to train alongside the likes of Benson Henderson and Alex Caceres, training partners who have helped transform Corrales into the well-rounded fighter he is today.

Bellator 228 is his shot at the title and there is nothing holding back the 33-year old. Corrales wants to go all the way to the top of the featherweight division.
