Quick Verdict

Testogen is the better product of the two because it’s more effective and cheaper. Its affordable price and potent formulation make it popular among younger men looking to boost their gym results.

Nuugenix failed to deliver meaningful results, and I can’t justify the high price.

Testogen vs. Nugenix Main Differences

Benefits

Testogen and Nugenix Total T are both testosterone-boosting supplements that offer distinct benefits.

Testogen is known for increasing energy and stamina, enhancing muscle growth, and improving mental focus and mood.

Its comprehensive formula, featuring ingredients like D-aspartic acid, can boost testosterone and support overall vitality and sexual health.

Nugenix Total T also focuses on naturally increasing testosterone levels with a straightforward formula. It features two patented blends, a healthy dose of Tongkat Ali extract, and essential vitamins like B6 and B12.

These ingredients work together to improve physical performance, support hormonal balance, and boost overall energy.

Nugenix Total T is ideal for those seeking a simple yet effective supplement to enhance their testosterone levels and overall well-being.

Both supplements cater to different needs but share the common goal of helping men regain their vitality and physical performance.

Testogen also offers free shipping and gifts in the form of fitness and nutrition guides with each purchase off of the official website.

Nugenix Total T, on the other hand, is also available on Amazon, which makes purchasing and shipping faster and easier for many people.

Ingredients

Testogen has a completely transparent ingredient list with no proprietary blends, which is how I like my supplements to be. Nugenix Total T, on the other hand, has two blends.

But in this case, it’s not as bad as in other products because both blends contain only two ingredients and have some clinical studies to back up their effectiveness.

Let’s review the two products’ ingredient lists and consider what benefits they may offer.

Testogen contains vitamin D. Research has shown a substantial link between vitamin D levels and testosterone in men, implying that optimal vitamin D intake is critical for maintaining healthy testosterone levels [1].

The dosage of 20 mcg is sufficient to deliver benefits.

Zinc is essential for immunological function, DNA synthesis, and testosterone production [2].

Zinc insufficiency has been related to lower testosterone levels, making its presence in the two formulations important. Nugenix, though, has a very low dose at 1 mg, while Testogen is much better with 10 mg.

Nugenix and Testogen also contain boron, an essential element for men. The data clearly show that boron supplementation increases steroid hormone levels in both men and women, particularly testosterone [3]. Testogen has 8 mg, while Nugenix has 10 mg.

Nugenix contains 1125 mg of citrulline malate. The amino acid is known for its propensity to convert to arginine, which subsequently turns into nitric oxide. This technique relaxes blood vessels, enhancing circulation and supplying oxygen to numerous tissues, including muscles [5].

Tesnor® is a proprietary cocoa bean and pomegranate peel extract that boosts testosterone levels and promotes muscle strength and growth.

This innovative blend increases in-cell testosterone production while inhibiting aromatase activity, which turns testosterone into estrogen [6].

The elevATP® blend in Nugenix mixes ancient peat and apple extracts to boost the body’s ATP (adenosine triphosphate) generation, which is required for energy transfer inside cells.

Several studies suggest that elevATP® increases athletic performance by boosting ATP levels in the body, resulting in better stamina and strength during sports [7][8].

Another noteworthy inclusion in the Nugenix formulation is Tongkat Ali extract, renowned for its testosterone-boosting and aphrodisiac properties. Research has shown that Tonkgat Ali can help increase muscular growth and libido [9].

Nugenix also offers a testosterone booster called Total T Maxx. This one contains many tried-and-true herbs, such as fenugreek, Ashwagandha, shilajit, Rhodiola, Maca, and Ginseng.

However, the price is twice as much as the ordinary product and is even more expensive than premium boosters, and I don’t believe it’s worth it, so I tested the standard Total T version.

An essential ingredient in Testogen is D-aspartic acid. It has been linked with testosterone production, as well as being thought of as a treatment for erectile dysfunction.

Supplementing with DAA has been proven effective and delivers benefits including higher sperm quality, increased sperm production, enhanced sexual health, boosted muscle growth, improved physical performance, and increased energy levels [4]

Testogen has a 2352 mg dose of DAA, which is slightly short of the recommended 3000 mg but is still more than what’s found in most testosterone boosters.

The next important component is Panax Ginseng extract, which has been used in Asian traditional medicine for centuries to boost libido and enhance sexual function.

Studies have shown it can increase testosterone and significantly improve symptoms of erectile dysfunction [10].

Testogen also utilizes the potential benefits of Nettel leaf extract, which inhibits the aromatase enzyme in prostate tissue. This enzyme decreases the quantity of testosterone turned into estrogen in the body, leaving more testosterone available [11].

Effectiveness

My Testogen proved effective, and I enjoyed several benefits during my two months with the product.

By the end of the first week, I felt an increase in energy levels. Although I generally struggle with afternoon slumps, I got through my days more effectively.

My endurance during workouts also increased. I lifted bigger weights and completed my workouts without feeling exhausted.

After about a month, the progress was noticeable. My muscle mass had increased, and my strength had improved noticeably.

Nugenix’s benefits were less evident, and I can only report minor energy and mood improvements. I was hoping for a greater improvement in my workout ability, but I believe the low doses were insufficient to provide substantial results.

Clinical Research

The clinical research behind Testogen and Nugenix Total T provides insight into their effectiveness as testosterone boosters.

While direct clinical studies on Testogen itself are limited, the supplement’s ingredients are well-researched.

D-aspartic acid, a key component, has been shown in studies to significantly increase testosterone levels in men, while the rest of the components are also thoroughly studied.

Research also supports Nugenix Total T’s formulation. In addition to the multivitamins and well-known herbs like Tonkgat Ali, the product also has Tesnor and elevATP, both of which boast clinical studies proving their effects in the formulation’s dosages.

Overall, while both supplements rely heavily on the clinical validation of their individual ingredients rather than on studies of the products themselves, the backing for the key components in Testogen and Nugenix Total T suggests that they can effectively boost testosterone and support men’s health.

Side Effects

Testogen is composed of natural substances to ensure the safety of long-term use. However, certain individuals may experience mild adverse effects, including mood changes, headaches, or digestive discomfort, especially when they first begin to take the supplement.

Nugenix Total T also uses natural ingredients to reduce the likelihood of adverse effects. Similar to Testogen, some users may experience mild adverse effects, such as headaches, nausea, or an upset stomach.

Nugenix did not give me any side effects, but Testogen induced mild stomach discomfort for a couple of days, which is a rarity for me with supplements.

User Reviews

Nugenix Total T has over 13k Amazon reviews, with an average rating of 4.1, indicating high satisfaction with the product.

Several consumers have experienced considerable increases in their overall well-being, more productive workouts, and less fatigue after using Nugenix Total T for a few months.

However, there are more than a few mixed and negative reviews. Some say the product had no impact after two months of use, and others report minor adverse effects.

Testogen features an outstanding user review section, with hundreds of reviews and before-and-after images of guys achieving impressive physical changes.

These transformations are always multifaceted and do not stem exclusively from the supplement, but seeing so many happy faces and powerful bodies instills confidence in the product.

However, negative reviews are inaccessible on the official website, which is not a practice I like. This prevents us from gaining a complete insight into customer opinions.

My Experience With Testogen And Nugenix

My experience with Testogen was much better. As I said, the effects on energy levels, their consistency, and some impressive gym gains were noticeable over the two months I took it.

Of course, the results were backed by a solid nutrition and training plan. The supplement was a small part of the equation, but it still provided a push in the right direction.

On the downside, I have to mention my stomach issues. While they were mild and quickly subsided, they’re worth noting.

Another minor issue was the inconsistent packaging of the two bottles. This is a small issue, but it can leave you wondering if you got the real product or a counterfeit.

Nugenix’s marketing claims were mostly unfulfilled. Considering the recipe’s target audience is fitness enthusiasts, I was hoping to experience the benefits of the proprietary blends—which contain recognized performance boosters—but they were nowhere to be found.

My energy levels stayed consistent, and I didn’t feel any better inside or outside the gym. Perhaps the dosages are too little for someone like me, who has previously tried the majority of these substances, but after 30 days of no results, I decided to end my Nugenix trial.

Should You Choose Testogen Or Nugenix?

Out of the two products, Testogen is definitely the better one. It delivers results in and out of the gym, and I am generally happy with it despite the mild side effects. The low price is also something to consider, especially if you are younger and on a low budget.

Nugenix is not only priced higher, but in my experience, it was a lot less effective, so I find it hard to recommend it over Testogen (or many other testosterone boosters).
