The two supplements have transparent ingredient lists and comprehensive formulations. In this section, we’ll examine the individual properties of most of the components.

I will start with PhenQ’s comprehensive formulation.

A-Lacys Reset is a patented mix of alpha-lipoic acid and cysteine.

It’s designed to enhance metabolism and accelerate the body’s thermogenic processes, allowing you to burn more calories. In clinical trials, subjects who took a-Lacys Reset lost 7.24% of their body fat and 3.44% of their body weight and increased muscle mass by 3.80% [1].

PhenQ’s Capsimax Powder contains capsicum, piperine, caffeine, and niacin, which is a very potent combination of fat burners.

Piperine (black pepper) boosts the bioavailability of other nutrients, helping the body absorb them better [2][3].

Hourglass Fit also contains piperine, a great addition to every supplement.

Capsicum comes from red chili peppers and has thermogenic characteristics that boost metabolism. Capsaicinoids have been demonstrated to stimulate thermogenesis, boost fat oxidation, and reduce appetite [10].

Hourglass Fit has 100 mg of Capsimax, a potent dose certain to boost metabolism.

Chromium picolinate is part of PhenQ. This mineral controls blood glucose levels and curbs appetites for carbohydrates and sugar. A study found that chromium picolinate participants had lower food consumption, hunger, and desire for fat [4].

Caffeine is a well-known stimulant that increases alertness and decreases fatigue. Caffeine also boosts metabolic rate, which promotes fat reduction. According to a study, coffee can enhance the resting metabolic rate by 3–11% [6][7].

PhenQ also contains Innoslim, a combination of extracts from Astragalus membranaceous and Panax notoginseng. Innoslim has been proven to increase adiponectin levels, which regulate glucose and fatty acid breakdown [11].

Both supplements are effective in a slightly different way. PhenQ has delivered the most rapid weight loss I’ve experienced since my weight-cutting days for competition.

In one month, I’ve lost 20 lbs. Of course, the cut was supercharged with a strict diet and training routine, but the contribution of PhenQ can’t be overstated.

Hourglass Fit is made for women, so I’m not the ideal user, but I decided to test it anyway. The effects were not as fast, but they were evident nonetheless, and the supplement helped me lose 10 lbs gradually and sustainably. Most of all, this was almost exclusively fat loss, which is very important.

Those who have used the product for several months claim the best outcomes. Some folks, like me, only need a little push to attain their goals, and PhenQ can help them do it in as little as thirty days.

Not all reviews are positive, and some consumers have reported mixed results. While these reviewers did observe some effects, many felt they took too long and were only effective when combined with strict diet and exercise plans.

Complaints are common with any product, including PhenQ, and one of the main criticisms of it is the price. Some people believe the higher price is not justified compared to similar products on the market.

These are great, and I am sure the reviews are real, but we can gain a more authentic picture from places with more reviews, like Amazon.

My Experience With PhenQ And Hourglass Fit

Using PhenQ was a fantastic experience for me. I lost twenty pounds in a little over three weeks, which was somewhat surprising.

My weight loss was based on a healthy diet and regular exercise, but I haven’t seen such quick results from these methods in years.

After the first week of using PhenQ, my typical high appetite subsided, and by the end of the second week, I felt energized and could push myself to my physical limits.

Although losing weight was the main goal, I was pleasantly surprised to notice a marked improvement in my mood. I became more pleasant to be around and less likely to give in to cravings for unhealthy food. 

Hourglass Fit had a milder effect on my weight loss journey. Despite the lack of caffeine, the supplement managed to lift my energy levels, at least to a degree.

However, the effects on appetite suppression and satiety after eating less food than usual were much more noticeable.

Moreover, my mood improved, and resisting cravings and emotional eating became much easier than usual. Overall, I lost 10 lbs in three months. This may not sound dramatic, but it’s a gradual and gentle approach many people can appreciate.   

Should You Choose PhenQ or Hourglass Fit?

I can recommend both PhenQ and Hourglass Fit. While they share the same goal, their approaches and target audiences differ, so both can be good solutions depending on the user.

PhenQ is the better product overall because it provides a more complete weight loss method. It’s fantastic at helping you burn fat and boost your metabolism, while the stimulants help even further by providing enough energy for training.

Hourglass Fit is also a comprehensive weight loss supplement, but it’s designed for women, and its strongest effects are appetite suppression and feeling full. So, if you train a lot and want fast results, go for PhenQ, regardless of your gender.
