Here’s the lowdown on Spacegoods. I found the taste of Stevia a bit much. Distinct from typical mushroom powders, Rainbow Dust offers the familiar flavors of coffee, hot chocolate, or a milkshake.

It’s versatile, too. When I gave it the mix tests, it did well with water and milk. However, to mix it with milk, it needs to be warm. Here’s the rest of my Spacegoods experience.

  • Improved Physical Performance: Including the Cordyceps mushroom boosts stamina and energy levels by enhancing oxygen utilization and ATP production. This benefits athletes and those with an active lifestyle??.
  • Stress and Anxiety Reduction: Ashwagandha and Rhodiola Rosea are key components that help reduce stress and anxiety levels. These adaptogens support adrenal function and improve resilience to stress, promoting a sense of calm and well-being??.

Cons

  • High Sweetness: Many users find the product too sweet, even though it uses natural sweeteners like stevia. This might require dilution or additional adjustments to suit individual taste preferences??.

Quick Verdict

What Is Spacegoods?

Spacegoods Rainbow Dust is a potent all-in-one blend of mushrooms and adaptogens crafted to enhance your natural capabilities.

And it’s not bad. It’s not my favorite mushroom powder, but it could scrape into my best mushroom powders list at some point.

It fails a little bit on the taste front. Still, it has good doses to benefit from functional mushrooms and adaptogens, supporting focus, energy, tranquility, immune function, and digestive health.

Spacegoods Rainbow Dust Ingredients

Spacegoods Rainbow Dust includes ingredients known to support brain health. Generally, I expect Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, and Chaga mushrooms when looking for a decent mushroom drink, and they all appear in Spacegoods.

Each mushroom is provided at a dosage of 1000 mg per 8-oz serving, considerably higher than many competitors’ offerings. However, they don’t specify the polysaccharide content for each mushroom, so they could be lower-quality ingredients.

Lion’s Mane Mushroom

Lion’s Mane Mushroom is known for containing hericenones and erinacines, two compounds that stimulate brain cell growth.

It has been suggested to alleviate mild depression and anxiety symptoms. Studies indicate that the Lion’s Mane Mushroom extract possesses anti-inflammatory properties, which may help lessen symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Depending on the lion’s mane extract in Spacegoods, it could just be beta-glucans, which, while good for you, don’t provide the best benefits.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha, known as Withania somnifera, Indian ginseng, or winter cherry, is a small shrub found in India and Southeast Asia.

Ashwagandha is renowned for its stress and anxiety reduction capabilities. As an adaptogen, it aids the body in managing stress.

Many studies back this up, making it a good inclusion for Space Dust. It may regulate stress mediators such as heat shock proteins (Hsp70), cortisol, and the stress-activated c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase (JNK-1) and diminish the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis’s activity, which controls stress responses.

Ashwagandha could be beneficial for athletic performance. It can enhance focus and boost energy levels.

Cordyceps

Cordyceps is a genus of parasitic fungi that grows on insect larvae. If you’re going to be vegan, as Spacedust is, it has to be lab-grown and standardized; otherwise, it doesn’t have enough cordycepin for its benefits.

As there isn’t any mention of the standardization, I expect this is a dud ingredient, as it is in 99% of mushroom products.

The benefits of Cordyceps mushrooms are increased exercise performance; they boost the body’s production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), crucial for muscle energy delivery. This could enhance oxygen utilization by the body during physical activity.

Additionally, Cordyceps offers numerous scientifically validated health advantages. It can bolster the immune system, lowering infection and illness risks, elevate energy levels, improve libido, support kidney health, and possess anti-inflammatory properties.

Maca Root

Maca Root is known for its libido effects, although it helps with energy levels and blood flow. Another significant aspect of Maca Root is its potential to improve memory and its known anti-inflammatory properties, which may help with joint pain and discomfort.

Additionally, Maca Root is used by athletes and bodybuilders to enhance energy and performance. The flavonoids in Maca are thought to help with mood enhancement and anxiety reduction.

Maca Root may also help manage blood pressure and mitigate sun damage. Its antioxidant properties combat free radicals.

Chaga Mushroom

Chaga mushrooms, scientifically known as Inonotus obliquus, are fungi that primarily grow on the bark of birch trees in cold climates.

For centuries, chaga mushrooms have been used in traditional medicine to boost immunity and improve overall health. They are abundant in antioxidants, which can shield the body from free radicals that may damage health, cells, and DNA.

Chaga mushrooms possess one of the highest ORAC scores among foods, reflecting their potent antioxidant capacity. They are beneficial for strengthening the immune system.

They have demonstrated a positive effect on immunity by diminishing long-term inflammation and combating harmful bacteria and viruses.

Additionally, their Anti-inflammatory properties have the potential to help people with arthritis and are often considered an alternative form of treatment.

The antioxidants in Chaga mushrooms can also aid in lowering cholesterol levels, helping with blood pressure and sugar regulation:

Studies involving chaga are continuing to investigate the slowdown of cancer progression. Some of the latest research indicates that chaga mushrooms may decelerate the progression of certain cancers. Chaga mushrooms also offer potential liver protection.

Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola rosea, also known as “golden root,” is an adaptogenic herb that grows in Europe and Asia’s cold, mountainous regions. It has been used in traditional medicine systems worldwide for centuries, especially in parts of Europe, Asia, and Russia.

While research is still limited and ongoing, some potential benefits include helping with weight loss by reducing visceral fat. This may additionally help with diabetes management, and it may help lower blood sugar and pain.

Vitamin B5

Vitamin B5 reduces tiredness and fatigue, which is nice enough; it’s in many energy drinks and energy-boosting supplements.

My Experience Taking Spacegoods

I recently tried Spacegoods Rainbow Dust and was pleasantly surprised by its effects. As someone who often battles mid-afternoon energy slumps, I sought a healthier alternative to my usual coffee.

Rainbow Dust stood out due to its blend of adaptogens and functional mushrooms, promising sustained energy and focus without the crash.

Upon my first try, I mixed a scoop of Rainbow Dust with hot almond milk, as suggested. The drink had a pleasant, earthy flavor, slightly sweetened by natural ingredients, making it an enjoyable part of my morning routine.

Within about 30 minutes, I noticed a subtle increase in my energy levels. Unlike the jittery energy spike from coffee, this felt more like a steady, focused alertness throughout the morning.

The real test came during my busy workday. I found that my ability to concentrate improved significantly. Tasks that usually felt tedious were more manageable, and I maintained a higher level of productivity without feeling overwhelmed.

Additionally, I appreciated the calming effects, likely from the ashwagandha and Rhodiola Rosea, which helped keep my stress levels in check.

On the downside, I did find that I had to consistently take it daily to maintain these benefits. Skipping a day made me realize how much of a difference it made. Also, while I enjoyed the taste, those who prefer a more traditional coffee flavor might need time to adjust.

Spacegoods Reviews and Ratings

Space Goods Rainbow Dust reviews are generally pretty good. Although enough people seem to like it, there are a few complaints about how Rainbow Dust tastes, so I’ll have to call it a split on that.

But, the 4.1/5 rating on Trustpilot reviews does suggest that it’s a pretty decent product, and a lot of customers suggest that taking rainbow dust does work at least somewhat.

Generally, the positives are that it improves energy and focus and has excellent taste. The negatives complain about experiencing diarrhea, headaches, misleading marketing, and slow shipping.

Spacegoods Side Effects

Some potential side effects of Spacegoods include gastrointestinal discomfort, such as bloating, gas, or an upset stomach, particularly when first incorporating the product into your diet.

Allergic reactions may occur in individuals sensitive to any of the ingredients, with symptoms like itching, hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing.

Changes in bowel movements can also be experienced due to the fiber content and natural ingredients, which might cause initial discomfort.

Additionally, a few users have reported headaches, possibly linked to detoxifying effects or ingredient sensitivity. Energy fluctuations may occur, with some users experiencing periods of low energy or crashes despite overall increases in energy.

Sleep disturbances are another possibility, as certain ingredients might impact sleep patterns, leading to difficulties falling asleep or nighttime disruptions.

Lastly, there is a potential for interactions with prescription medications, so consulting a healthcare provider before starting Spacegoods is advisable, especially for those on medication.

Is Spacegoods Worth It?

  • Spacegoods costs around the $50 mark for a month’s supply, 30 servings. (3 mushroom ingredients)
  • Nootrum Mushroom capsules, $50 for a month’s supply of 30 servings (9 mushroom ingredients)
  • Considering the benefits: improved energy, focus, and immunity, and a taste that many will appreciate,
  • There are some drawbacks, such as the high price, negative reviews, and potential side effects, but caution is needed.

Conclusion

While Spacegoods is a respectable product based on its ingredients, the taste wasn’t for me. It was a bit overly sweet, likely due to too much stevia. The customer reviews are generally favorable for Rainbow Dust, and any product rating above four on various websites might be considered a good buy. Still, there are just better alternatives in what’s quite a crowded market these days.

My favorite pick, Nootrum Mushrooms, unlike Spacegoods, employs a multi-spectrum approach by including a wider array of medically acknowledged mushrooms in their blend, mirroring the latest scientific findings and standardizing for the right micro compounds. And considering it’s priced similarly to Spacegoods, it’s not too difficult to see why it’s worth it.
